The only downside is people also refuse to switch their character if it’s not working. I can’t count how many times I’ve been in a match where our DPS chooses Widow and stays Widow the entire time and gets 0 kills and less damage than some of our healers.

This was a premier for a movie, not a 13 year old’s party. More than likely 90% of the people attending were over 21 anyways. This is like complaining that someone wanted to have a beer stand at a baseball game.

Why are we acting like a movie being PG-13 matters that a bar is set up at the premier? Every movie theater pretty much already serves alcohol.

So competition should only count if it’s close to the same success?

See, the whole “COD doesn’t have competition” argument doesn’t make sense to me.

I mean, 10 years is plenty of time for Sony to get competitive. At current rates that 10 COD games, or 5 if they continue skipping years. It will probably even cover the life time of the PS5.

Except they’ve already offered to keep CoD multiplatform and have a contract in writing.

ok, outside of CoD, what Activision games are huge console hits?.... none, really.

I haven’t understood this choice since Destiny only had 3 man fireteams. Four has always been the magic number for coop, why is everyone trying to change that?

Except it’s already been said that Sudeikis didn’t have knowledge they would do that and there’s no proof either way that he did or did not state they should.

Except you DIDN’T have to jump through a bunch of hoops and Sony retaliating with that fooled everyone into thinking you did.

To be fair, the red haired lady doesn’t show up until way further into the trailer, at which point I had already assumed it wasn’t Dino Crisis related; or that if it was I didn’t want it to be.

Oh, I believe she was abused. I also believe she abused him. I also know she flat out lied about a huge number of things which hurts both her case and future cases.

then maybe just realize its a game and doesnt matter compared to responsibility?

The biggest issue is the hypocritical attitude of the Chinese government. They don’t want kids addicted to games but have built gaming centers were the focus is on literally maximizing game time to generate money.

I believe someone else mentioned it. The stance is, “if we allow this mod to be played in a tournament, we will ALWAYS have to allow mods to be played at tournaments.”

Doesn’t matter if the game is old and not supported. The EULA still stands. Jaws is a film from 1975, but I can’t charge people to see it without making a license deal with the studio.

I believe you are correct. Also, no matter how many disclaimers you put, it could easily be argued that people will associate the tournament with Nintendo simply because the base game is a Nintendo property.

This is kind of my stance. I don’t understand why so many people are upset, especially when Nintendo has not made it any secret they do not appreciate modded versions of their games. Because from what little I know, it seems they only try and shut these things down when mods are involved.

Or C, don’t use modded versions of the game at the tournaments.
