You mean ‘Dracula’s monster was the dracula?”

You know in the novel Steve Dracula was the evil scientist, Dracula's Monster was the vampire

I just hope they make the bold artistic decision to replace all instances of the word “vampires” with the word “draculas.”

It’s generally accepted among Dresden Files fans that the series starts getting good around the finale of book 3. Many folks recommend starting with the 3rd or 4th for that reason, though the first two are perfectly fine. If you’re still not a fan after the 4th one, it’s probably not the series for you.

Excellent point. For my spouse, it’s croutons he needs to watch out for. It’s not enough to pick them off of a salad (crumbs get left behind, small pieces may be overlooked). The salad needs to be made without croutons.

I guess it depends on your definition of Ass. Is it just a regular bad team? Then the O’s are your squad—everybody expected them to finish in last place and trade Machado which they did. Is it a team that seemingly can’t stop embarrassing themselves while also sucking? Then the Raiders are your boys. Is it a team that

I’m not a waitress, but I am often salty. I’m also the spouse of a gluten-free (fuck you, Celiac Disease!) vegetarian, so I can tell you what works for him.

This would require Gamers and Youtubers to actually developa comprehensive understanding of game development and the industry from anything other than an Armchair Dev level, which they will never ever do.

Can’t we please stop assuming that every time ALL OF THE WORK isn’t put into every single thing, that it’s immediately the pinnacle of laziness, or that we at least have to whine about how we’re just not getting all of the value that we wanted? I’m getting tired of it. Films re-use sets. Disney re-traced over old

We Built This City” is lame indeed, but the Starship did also produce one of my guiltiest and most pleasurable guilty pleasures of corporate rock, “Jane.”

Also, timely.

Pretty geeked up to see them live next week. Hopefully they’ll be signing autographs, as I’m only missing Joel’s.

The names being brought up in this thread are borderline PTSD inducing.

I am living instructions to have the M’s as my pallbearers, so they can let me down one last time.

Yes, the Slocumb trade, in retrospect, looks terrible, but at the time, the M’s were desperate for a closer (anyone remember Bobby “Swung on and belted!” Ayala?), and Slocumb came in and helped get the M’s to the playoffs.
