This is such an underrated movie. Mike Myers at his prime.

Some of us are not Star Wars acronym nerds...

I disagree completely. They might always love each other, but their lives were too different, their goals too far apart, and their basic natures so opposite that there was no way a marriage between them would last.

Luke gave up his attachments in Return of the Jedi. He learned the lesson Yoda tried to teach him ESB. ESB is all about Luke making huge mistakes, not proving Yoda wrong.

I assume Luke has joined the Jedi Sacred Text of the Month Club by the time he starts building his Academy and training Grogu. By the end of his time with Rey he’s ready to burn it all down.

We saw Han and Leia get together over 3 movies, during which we only see a few days (weeks at most).

I honestly didn’t think Luke’s ending was at all horrible. Nor did my wife. Indeed with both thought it was really good and fit with people Obi-Wan.

One of the biggest complaints before the finale was Baba Fett was not badass enough. Well how do you make someone a badass? Have them defeat a badass. Cad Bane died in service of elevating Boba Fett. Vanth, seemingly died, in service of raising the stakes thereby making Cad Bane’s defeat more crucial and satisfying.

I think dumb fun is what we all need after the last... checks notes.... ever.

I agree. This whole series was a not-so-veiled attempt to get people excited for Mandalorian season 3. I do appreciate that all the Boba Fett action scenes in Ep 7 were obviously a stunt guy with Morrison doing ADR.

The Jedi always have an option to leave. Luke giving Baby Yoda a choice is nothing new or a correction of “mistakes.” If you’re referring to Anakin’s story, Anakin didn’t want to leave the Jedi. He felt entitled to anything he wanted and saw himself above any kind of regulation. He could have left if he wanted. In

Battle Angel Alita was pretty dope

I had that same thought about Rodriguez from the moment it was announced, but i also found it odd that Favreau wrote literally all of the episodes, why were the Mando-centric ones so much better/make way more sense if the same guy wrote everything? I’m partially wondering if Disney got cold feet on some of the things

I got worried as soon as I saw Rodriguez was involved. I don’t think I’ve liked a movie he’s made since Once Upon a Time in Mexico. The show panned out about the way I thought it might.

I can’t believe they killed Bane. There’s no more stories to tell with him going forward? Really?????

Loved the episode head to toe! But I feel that this was meant to be Mandalorian’s next season debut, and was repurposed into the Book of Bobba Fett as a lifeboat.

I imagine BDH shoots longer and more expensively than Rodriguez does (it did sort of feel like the budget for this episode = the budget for the whole rest of the season so far). Also, Dallas-Howard, who is, at the very least a B+ list leading actress who has a four-quadrant tentpole movie coming out this year is

The reason I’ve held out for so long on any major kind of home theater is that the technology improves too quickly for it to make financial sense for me.

Absolutely this, I loved it.

Watched Dune at home on my projector this year, and it was the best (non)cinema going experience I have ever had. I would love a home release day streaming method. I would pay good money for a pay per view.

Might be there due to the video being posted by WB UK/Ireland. Everywhere else official that I look says both theaters and HBO Max on that date
