I’ll be dead before Indy 5 is out, MCU is moving into big time fringe character territory, and this is the one SW project I thought could happen.

“I am not throwing away my...shield. I am not throwing away my...shield.”
What If...Death, Just Death, Everywhere?
I thought this was an actual review of humankind, as in, humanity. People. Us.
I didn’t see this coming.
You had me at “12 episode,” but lost me at “live-action.” All of the best bat stuff is animated.
He basically got to complete Buffy and all of his work for Marvel. I’d say that Angel, Firefly, and Dollhouse all at least got satisfying wrap-ups, but I was left wanting far more of all three.
Not to be a Whedon apologist or anything, but that’s true of most showrunners. Movies tend to have a relatively set timeframe attached - maybe a movie is made quickly, or maybe they’re an Avatar sequel. But when it’s done, it’s done. A successful show tends continue indefinitely, like Supernatural’s 5 year story that…
I can’t really blame Whedon for Firefly’s demise. Fox chose to air the episodes out of order for some reason. Fox loved making genre shows only to kill them off after half a season.
He does a great clueless dad, and great unbalanced bad guy (more than one movie I can’t recall the name of).
Keanu Reeves will produce and star in both a live-action film adaptation and an animated series based on his new comic book, BRZRKR, at Netflix.
This was such a weird scene. It was a cool way to establish Barry’s powers, but it had already been done better by Fox’s Quicksilver in the X-films. And as far as what it does from a story standpoint, it’s basically just there to shoehorn in Iris and then never show or mention her again. It does nothing narratively…
I’m happy for anything that exposes people Tom King’s Vision. And the MCU might tap into it again. Paul Bettany’s take was very warm and compassionate from the outset, but the escaped White Vision may be closer to the comic’s more distant and isolated persona (“Perhaps you did not hear me. I will adjust my vocal volume…
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a pretty flawless movie, and is arguably still the finest film the Marvel Cinematic Universe has brought.
This might be the best version of this joke that has or will ever exist.
I’m happy that the adults story is the best around, but I’m sorry that the kids story let you down.
He could launch that rocket over them mountains...
There were two main issues with Wing:
1) The first and most obvious was that as they were writing the second season, despite having a fairly definitive endpoint planned, it was very clear they had little to no idea how to get there.
2) They never quite got the balance right of if the show was a more traditional shōnen…
Yeah I really hope not. This show excels and is so special because it’s such a small story. You have the movies for the big galaxy changing stories. This doesn’t need to be that.
