Yep. I think Carter wanted him to reprise the Kolchak role but McGavin didn’t want to do that, so they created the FBI character instead.

I believe I read somewhere that Kolchak was the primary inspiration behind Fox Mulder and the X-Files in general.

I love GB Tetris. I have very fond memories of playing it on long car trips to the beach. I still fire it up once in a while on the emulator if for no other reason than to hear the wonderful chip tune theme music.

I think I have an old Gameboy lying around with the cartridge still in it.

I found my old G1 Gameboy recently. Had to clean the contacts of the Gameboy and the cartridges but then it fired right up. Tetris is the same as it ever was. Surprisingly, the external rechargeable battery pack is still capable of holding a charge, too.

I’ve been a huge Thrawn fan since I read Heir to the Empire back in the early 90s or whenever the hell it came out. 16 year old me would be losing his god damned mind hearing this news. 42 year old me is mildly interested to see if anything actually comes of this rumor lol.

Paramount made the right call. Mission Impossible: Fallout was awesome. I got to see Superman load his guns and be a proper bad guy.

I always said that fight made no sense to me. I wanted Sidious to be this master of The Force and not a great duelist. Someone who didn’t have to throw down because he didn’t have to.
