Jesus Christ.

FUCK ESPN. Seriously, fuck those executives and producers so fucking hard. This is so fucking fucked up.

I have only commented on one other article on any website in my life. As a female who teaches Criminology on the college level it astounds me that not only the hotel would put a public figure at physical risk, but then her employer would put her at psychological risk in regards to this stalker. I have no doubt this

Now I understand why she went to Fox sports.

Yeah, i totally get her employer! There’s no way someone famous and female could ever be a victim of something, especially when it’s something sexual.
They pretty much have a get-out-of-sexual-assault card, with which they can avoid anything. It’s even respected by the AASP (American Association of Sexual Predators)

Seriously, fuck ESPN. The only way they could have been more tone deaf would have been if they made her do the interview in a goddamn bikini.

(An ESPN spokesperson “respectfully” declined comment.)

Who’d have thought the guys behind the scenes would make the First Take bloviators look like upstanding citizens by comparison? Crap, that is terrible.

I recently canceled my cable TV and signed up for Sling TV so I could still get ESPN. This seriously has me rethinking that decision. It’s so goddamn disgusting. Her word should have been enough.

I had knee surgery and was prescribed it. All it did was make me fall asleep and constipated. I stopped taking it as soon as I could.....mostly to poop.

You only say that because you’ve never experienced or known someone who experienced serious, debilitating pain. I agree that opiate pain killers can be dangerous and some doctors overprescribe them, but they also do a ton of good.

Vicodin and Oxycontin are’t even in the same zip code.

Sorry to hear about your experience, I’ve had many friends deal with it as well. You’re 100% right about the treatment issue and I’m wishing you nothing but the best.

Some people are more susceptible, but you also don’t notice the high when you’re in actual pain or taking the proper dosage. Vicodin is also a much weaker opiod, and Hall was probably cranking several pills at once.

bc vicodins are one of the least strong opiates. it’s like comparing a bud light to a moonshine and wondering why you dont feel the same way after one glass

I hear you. After years of football and rugby, I’ve had my share of injuries. Most recently was a torn achilles which required some serious pain meds. Sure they made me feel fuzzy and loopy, but nothing I’d want to incorporate into my daily life. I really think some people are just susceptible to the high of

Dude, you are a fucking moron.

As some one whos dealt with this personaly it is scary but you don’t even realize what it’s doing until your sober enough to comprehend where you were. It is 100% the prescription meds kids are starting on then to the hard stuff. The funny thing is they hand out the actual narcotics like candy but treat the treatment

My wife is from rural New Hampshire. It’s basically gotten to the point where you either go away to college at 18 or find your way into the opiate subculture (or just “culture” at this point) pretty quickly.

That scary as fuck description of the Oxycontin high is why we are dealing with a serious opiate problem in New England and elsewhere in the United States. Glad this guy turned it around - unfortunately so many can’t.
