Jimmy was flying right through most of season 1, and he was happy to do it. He thought his brother was proud of him. That made everything worth it to him. He had a reason to do the right thing. Now because of Chuck's years of betrayal and lying Jimmy has no reason to want to better himself. He has no reason to change.

Probably, but Stan didn't execute her. Stan tried to save her. Oleg might become disillusioned with the USSR.

True.

Yeah things are starting to turn around for both of them (especially Stan), but I still think they need each other's friendship.

And no one calls him Mikey either. He hated being called Mikey.

To be fair, Stan may have used him for information, but I think he still cares about him. They really only have each other. They're kind of the two loneliest characters on the show.

What about poor Mikey?

Stan might if Oleg decides to turn on the USSR.

Red Death is the nicest and evilest/scariest character on the show. Glad he didn't die, that means he may be back.

Matt's always been somewhat of a hypocrite. I mean he's a lawyer and a vigilante, and it's not like he's an immoral lawyer. He actually believes in the law. So he's by nature a hypocrite. That's not saying he's a bad person. He truly is trying to make the world a better place, and is somewhat successful in doing so.

Well they are in a very unusual situation. It's hard to call anything they do normal in any way, but all things considered Stan and Philip are probably the closest each other has to a real friend on this show no matter how absurd that sounds.

Yeah I feel like being in the KGB was never really something he would have even wanted to be in, and he would have felt compelled to work for them to sort of atone for him killing the muggers/bullies. Which sadly only ended up adding to his guilt rather than take it away or help him deal with it. Phil is qute the

I love how Paige skipped saying the pledge of allegiance. You can really see that she has no clue what to do, and her whole world is destroyed.
Also I wasn't tense during Stan and Philip's confrontation because we know neither of them were going to die, but I did feel really bad because I like to think they're real

No way he kills Stan. Stan's too important to the show.

Yeah instead of Tyrant they should be talking about Fargo.

Yeah then The Americans isn't really for you at least for now, it gets pretty dark. I'd still say check it out eventually when you're more up to watching some dark stuff, but for now I'd say pass on it. I have to say when it comes to Justified there probably will never be a real replacement. It had the perfect balance

The thing about Peggy speech that was cut off by Lou is that she's right in a vacuum, but in the context of everything that transpired she's wrong. Lou's "people are dead" is a metaphorical mic drop. Peggy could never take any responsibility for her own actions or inadequacies. I mean she couldn't even take

To be fair seeing as how Lou said it became a nation wide man hunt it'd be more than just Lou. I mean shit the FBI was investigating his organization when he died.

I think that's a pretty good analysis of it. Raylan had to sort of let loose the angry man to put that part of him behind himself, and when he chose to save Bob instead of kill Boyd that was the moment he grew into being the good man Aunt Helen tried to help him become, and was no longer the angriest man Winona's ever

As Bhammer100 said Deadwood and Fargo are both great picks. Two other's I'd suggest are The Shield and The Americans. Both of them are on the same level as Justified, and The Shield has Walton Goggins as a lead character.
