I think it’s the law in just about every state at this point. And no, no one pays attention. That said there are studies that show even hands free calling is a distraction while driving.  Though typically it’s the more brain taxing the conversation the more distracting it is.

I used to travel a lot for work and my company contracted with National, so I always got the Emerald or Exec aisle. Rental pickup could not be easier.
