I think even the wokest of we white folks fall into a trap where we try to find a way to absolve ourselves, personally and individually, from charges of racism. One way to do that is to read, study, meditate, etc.

I have been expecting for decades to see a mass migration from certain communities (Latino, South Asian) to the Republican party because of the traditional cultural values. But no, the white supremacy is just obvious to most people.

I am so tired of hearing white people muleing on about what is in their hearts. It doesn’t matter to the guy who you have in a chokehold whether or not you have hatred in your heart for his race. Racism is a cognitive bias and the actions you take on that are what matters. No offense, but fuck your heart.

“I feel threatened" seems to be a trigger phrase they think releases them from any responsibility for their behavior.

Excellent sumary. This whole cancel culture push back thing has all the makings of a moral panic.

In her mind,  they weren't a family. They were a pack of animals. But no one is racist.

I am seeing it for the first time right now and it’s been a journey. At first I was really enjoying it and found the casting of actors of color was allowing me to feel warm fuzzy feelings about the founders that I haven’t felt since I was a little kid learning about freedom and principles and all that. But I’m not

Would it be spelled Wendies?

They could make it a requirement that 80 percent of a child actor's income be set aside in a trust
