Maybe 2020 is the year when white politicians learn that hubris is not enough when it comes to arracting support from people who aren’t white. They will have to learn that rhetoric isn't enough. Their words and actions need to show that they care and are listening to diverse voices all along, not just on the campaign…

No one should threaten to kill anyone. But I laughed. I feel bad. I did once make a summer school class watch the 2016 remake. I was so sick after one kid told me that MLK freed the slaves that I didn't want to talk to them for a few days.

I wonder what they mean by rehabilitation. My aunt runs out county domestic violence shelter program and doesn't really believe in rehabilitation in a broad sense, just legal consequences.
