I remember hearing something on How Did This Get Made? to the effect of Vin Diesel being really nice to everyone on the crew and generally being a pleasure to work with.

IMO F8 is the worst of the series other than Tokyo Drift and Fast & Furious (the fourth one). Definitely disappointing after I really enjoyed 5-7.
