“which Tesla apparently states should only be used on private land—a rule that precludes most parking lots and spaces”
I have some large Farberware knife set I got as a gift years ago. Most of those knives have been removed and replaced with better options. I got a Global G-2 for Christmas last year. It’s phenomenal. I haven’t really used anything since then. I plan to pick up the paring knife equivalent but I see no reason for…
I thought it looked almost exactly like the one I saw! I figure they can’t be super common trucks. It was easily my favorite there. We had our ‘73 Mack up there. Our guy usually parks it with the other vintage stuff on the other side of the railroad tracks near the big shop building.
I saw one of these at the NC Fire Truck Show in Spencer earlier this year. Awesome looking truck.
The deeds portion is Greenville County, and it’s awful. The GIS portion is is the city. I guess I didn’t mention the county in my first post.
I thought it’d be easy to track old deeds and then use the city’s GIS portal to try and find the likely location for the track. It’d then be pretty easy to find some older aerial imagery.
Twice that I can recall, and both times were semi trucks. One was on I-40 and the truck was swerving all over the road. This was at night from what I remember, probably pretty late because there really wasn’t any traffic. Eventually I got to my exit so I have no idea if he got pulled over.
What do you do at restaurants that have tip jars for the “cook”? There’s a local one here who has one not only for the cook (who just makes burgers on a flat top) but also one for the “waitress” who just takes money and fills up drinks. They’re two separate jars. I don’t think I owe them anything, but I also don’t…
What this article doesn’t mention is that we keep a spare key for all the vehicles we sell so that way we can access them whenever we want!
Something that is good to point out is that CPR is used when the victim of the crash is not breathing AND has no pulse. Hence it’s cardio-pulmonary. And CPR has a pretty low rate of success, IIRC around 10%. The important part is finding an AED. A lot of commercial vehicles carry them now and they usually have a…
I still prefer LG phones to anything else on the market. I have a V40 and have no interest in anything else any other company has to offer. My personal tablet is a Samsung, but I just don’t care for the whole UI that Samsung has. LG just seems easier and cleaner to use.
For me, TMP is one of my favorite movies of all time, and easily my favorite Trek movie. Yes it had weird pacing issues, but the big moments were just so completely awe inspiring to me.
Take that empty jam jar with the stuff you just can’t get out and put a little oil and vinegar (apple cider, champagne, something like that) in it and shake it. “Free” vinaigrette.
I think the best part of Tank Girl was how Naomi Watts got progressively hotter in each scene. Like the stronger and more confident Jet Girl got, the hotter she became.
What about adults? I’ve always wanted to learn but don’t know where to even start. I figured a simple keyboard can’t cost that much and would be a reasonable starting point.
3 Musketeers might be good frozen.
“I honestly think if Guantanamo Bay used Sebring convertibles with the top down to torture their prisoners, they would have had a lot better luck.”
I can tell you from experience, it is a real problem. I’m still stuck on un-reliable 10mbps DSL internet, and I live in a town of around 3,500. We are JUST getting higher speed Spectrum cable after decades of lobbying for faster speeds.
