I still don’t understand how people find a $550 a month car payment “affordable”. The average US salary is $56,516 a year. Even with a significant down payment, most online car calculators will tell you that’s just too much.

I was always under the impression that cling wrap is bad because it traps moisture and can actually encourage mold growth. I generally wrap it in wax or parchment paper, that seems to be the “appropriate” way to store all cheeses according to so called experts. It seems to work well enough.

It depends largely on if FEMA has designated your county as an “individual assistance” county, IE you’re eligible to receive the loan.

Wow, this looks awesome.

I largely ignore the “this is how I work” articles because I kinda find them self serving and somewhat annoying. Like you, I read this one only because of the awesomeness that is Gritty. He reminds me of that British mascot Mr. Blobby, probably because of the crazy eyes and insane mannerisms.

Isn’t it somewhat unfair to compare cars with front engines to a Tesla Model 3 in any sort of frontal crash test? I mean I’m no engineer, but I would assume it’s far more difficult to design a safe(r) car when working around a giant hopefully immobile chunk of aluminum or steel than it is to design it around a trunk

Shoot, by the time I got around to ordering the Saturn V was sold out. I ended up getting the Capitol Building Architecture set instead, pretty decent deal. Sometimes I think those Architecture sets are a little overpriced, but they are super cool on display.

This is why I started drinking them. It also appears to work well for those trying to cut back on beer, well at least it did for my dad.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. This is really cool stuff.

Anything old VW is hard to find without running into janky garbage. I was obsessed with getting a ‘70's Bus Westfalia back in high school and couldn’t find butt that wasn’t complete rusty garbage. And people wanted an arm and a leg for it. Really sucked.

Man I think rust on most cars is largely based on where it spent it’s life before you got it. I had a ‘98 TJ and the thing was nothing BUT a rust bucket. Rust holes through both fenders, every bolt took an act of God to remove and everything fell apart. The car was a Massachusetts car for the early part of its life,

Is it a 1995 Blue/Green LeSabre? Because if so, it’s getting towed.

As an added bonus, you may be able to skip the boarding line because of the appearance of a serious neck injury with this pillow!

Why though? According to THIS, kei cars don’t seem to have any significant safety issues in crashes. It does appear that study indicates their performance was similar to non-kei cars only in low delta v crashes, which might explain just why they won’t work in the US, considering the US probably sees a much higher

Man I think 100% it’s a publicity stunt for the release of Yandhi and to try and generate more interest in Ye. It seems most of his off the rails crap happens right around the time he drops something new.

THANK YOU!!! I’ve said the same thing and gotten so much hate from it. It was an average to below average movie.

But they do enforce it. Granted it’s not really something they track down at bars or in your house, but if it gets big enough, Goslings does enforce the trademark.

IIRC, but the name “dark n’ stormy” is actually trademarked by Gosling. Unless it’s made with Gosling’s Black Seal Rum, it’s illegal!!

I’m still not entirely sure that the dude is just straight up playing a character.

Man, early Thunderbirds are so sexy.
