My 14 Grand Cherokee has the ability to ‘activate’ the navigation for the tiny sum of $600. I bought a few bottles of scotch instead.

For outdoor use, how is that better than their existing Pro Trek line? That lets you use all the sensors all the time and is solar. I guess the Pro Trek doesn’t read tweets... but if I’m someplace that I need an altimeter, I probably don’t want to get Facebook updates about your coffee addiction. #CaseoftheMondays
Help with cooking??? Did you see Ex Machina?? You want to keep the robots away from the knives.
You are actually arguing that education doesn’t make you smarter.
That’s a little too broad of a statement. I was a pilot, had a graduate degree in engineering and worked at the Research Laboratory... all before I was an O-3. I don’t think researching, developing, then deploying multi-million dollar pieces of advanced technology counts as ‘on the job training.’ That’s just my…
Ok Gizmodo, I give up... I’m out. This used to be a Technology Blog but now is indistinguishable from parent Gawker. When you run more global warming articles than actually technology articles, when do you just call it like it is and say you’re a global warming blog? No wonder you guys don’t get invited to product…
Oh Boy! Clausewitz! You can’t get into any military or foreign policy debate without the ‘smart’ guy pulling out that 200 years-dead general.
Just the highlight...
Do hipsters have jobs and money to buy bikes?
I own the same Jeep so I know what’s true.
According to these articles, EVERYONE!
I give up... I can’t keep up anymore. I’m all for saving the planet, but I just can’t keep pace with this fervor. There’s about 2 dozen hyperventilating articles on Gizmodo about this everyday. I get it, we’re DOOOOOOOOMED and people are terrible.
I remember when Gizmodo covered technology. Now it’s 10 global warming articles a day with alarmist headlines.
To be clear, we are talking about criminal and/or civil liability for scientific findings. If companies are liable for their actions based on their own research, why would a business ever want to promote science. I know it’s fun to beat up on Big Tobacco, Big Oil, or Big Whatever, but do we really want to set a…
Alissa, you know I love you, but...
Likewise. I think we are in violent agreement! Like you said, the biggest problem with the F-35 illustrates is how much of a mess the acquisition system is. The optimist in me is hoping we learn some lessons for the next one.
I also wore the uniform and actually personally flew for the Air Force (as opposed to a ‘friend’ or ‘relative’). I have an engineering degree, and I spent the rest of my military time in the Air Force Research Lab... you know, to research this stuff.
My father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate was also a pilot, but I don’t claim to be an expert.
This is some truly horrible wikipedia-based writing... let me help:
Back in my Air Force days, the airships were all about WAAS, nothing else.
