I think Land Rover is going to take them on when they release the new Defender. They, like Jeep, have brand identity tied up in it.

Ironically, I once made a bomb at my school... it had 0 wires. (be careful where you dump dry ice!)
Thanks for calling it like it is. These custom things designed exclusively for the Kanye West market need to stop.
I have a 10 year old Land Rover and a brand new Grand Cherokee. One of these has been in the shop 9 times this year. I know Jeep has announced they want to compete with Range Rover but geez guys.
Watch this while playing the Benny Hill theme song in the background and I promise you can’t stop laughing.
Yes. Definitely, yes. This is like Laney Boggs coming down the stairs post make-over...
For me, I’ve found a direct link between the cleanliness of the cars and the quality of the dealer. More so for used cars, but also new. I test drove a ‘New’ BMW (They didn’t say it was a service loaner with 8k miles on the phone... technically it had a new title.) The thing was disgustingly dirty inside. Checked the…
Hopefully this one doesn’t fry air conditioners... like mine did.
I read somewhere that they plan to bring diesel to their entire line in the next few years. This would include the new Defender when it comes out.
Probably soon. My LR3 was $17K down from the original sticker of $55K in just 6 years.
This is going to look as dated as 8-track players, cassettes, and CDs in a couple years. $2000 infotainment/nav system? No thanks, still not as good as $0 Waze app in a cup holder.
Andrew Collins has inspired me to grow my hair out too!
After your last post, I'm genuinely curious how much CarMax would offer for the Hummer.
Having done the Title X games at the DoD, I wouldn’t put too much weight on it. The choices of technologies and strategies that get played are highly political. In my experiences, certain contractors were able to get their internal R&D played at the expense of other more suitable solutions (even systems actually…
I bought the Lifeproof case for my phone. I believe it’s IP68, although I wouldn’t use it for underwater photos. The case is a pain in the butt when talking on your phone (hard to hear and people can’t hear me) but it is great for keeping the thing clean and dry while at the beach. I just pop it out when I get home.
As a professional scientist and engineer I find the climate debate incredibly trying. Everyone has an opinion and very few have the knowledge or background to support their opinion.
I have and wear a Casio Calculator watch... the original smartwatch.
Wes, Thanks for the honest battery assessment! I laughed my ass off about the Star Trek UI. I have family that works for Garmin and they were showing off another new Garmin watch. The feature he highlighted... Star Trek TNG face!!!
Just as soon as posted that, I knew someone would say Miata. Yes. You are correct.
2 SXY !!!
