I like JtV too but I really wouldn't place it much higher than The Carrie Diaries or Hart of Dixie on the quality scale, honestly. It's got a much stronger lead in Gina Rodriguez than either of those shows, but it's still pretty zero-calorie fare and I'm kind of annoyed it ~stole~ the spot of Veep or B99 or Parks.

According to the Golden Globes website which has accidentally posted nominees in order of votes counted instead of alphabetical like it was supposed to, House of Cards is winning too.

The TV Comedy nominations are a mess. I'm really not looking forward to this dramas-with-some-comic-elements a la OITNB, Girls and Transparent trend continuing with actual comedies getting shut out. Like no Veep or Brooklyn 99 is COCONUTS. And I like Jane the Virgin just fine, but if they were going to go for an

How are they the same? Finn executed multiple children and elderly in cold blood with seemingly zero remorse about his actions. Bellamy was indirectly responsible for the deaths on the Ark which had a whole host of other variables at play. In any case, Bellamy's actions were consistently framed by the show as wrong

The way the show is handling this whole Finn situation is so unbelievably tone deaf. The showrunner just retweeted a defense of Finn that basically said 'Bellamy and Clarke killed people too and Finn really thought the Grounders had his friends.'

When will Modern Family die…

Do any of these characters have jobs? Like I don't think they've ever even mentioned what these people do for a living.

I think I like that they obviously weren't trying to fill a 'diversity quota' too. There are two Latina women in the cast and two black men, and there's zero tokenism.

Oh noooooo, I really hope they don't go down that well, especially after that wonderful 'we have to have each other's backs' talk last year.

I love how dejected he sounded too, like there was nothing he could do to stop Gina.

Christ, The AV Club should start IQ testing before you're allowed to post comments.

Close, but I'd say The Party or The Mole were better.

I can't remember the last time an episode of a show actively made me angry so…congrats Sorkin, I guess?

Right? I really want flashbacks to their Academy days.

I don't know if it's because they can't get past the inherent goofiness of the character (and the actor for that matter), but Jake really is a lot more like Leslie Knope than anyone realizes.

I love that little dance she did to Terry after Holt walked away, like he was supposed to be jealous she got to work overtime.

Rosa, Rosaaa…I can't remember your last name…

I guess Craig Robinson is probably good friends with Andy Samberg in real life which is why they have such killer chemistry, but their dynamic is seriously so much fun to watch and I've enjoyed him more in two episodes of this show than in 5+ seasons of The Office. I really liked that this episode veered away from the

Rhyming Gina is my favorite.
