It sounds more like she’s saying that the game’s writing keeps hinting at “woke” themes but never commits to them, nor does it give the player enough agency to do anything with those ideas. It’s trying to have things both ways, which ends up pleasing no one.

I believe that’s where this game may be good in this aspect. In reality both sides are right and wrong about how to go about things. Now if this game pulls a star child ending I may be mad.

Is he playing with a trans flag around his shoulders?

Life in Aggro coming in with Spider Positivity.

Question, ever grew up in the 80s? 90s? Ever see cartoons where there’s a group of 5 people and it would be like all dudes and there’s 1 girl? And that 1 girl was JUST the girl. She’d have an episode where she was able to do ‘cool things’ but for the most part, she was regulated to ‘girl’. Now those shows were aimed

It’s also really fucking rich that people try to make Japan out as a place with cultural norms that are completely at odds with western modernity when it has a long, long tradition of gender bending and blurring that has always been way beyond anything that has been popular in the West. At the very minimum,

But there is a social context in which these narratives exist and it's reasonable to be disappointed by the fact that this narrative tacitly supports negative stereotypes. This isn't about artistic integrity or suppressing an artist. Furthermore, the narrative of this game relies on the player's knowledge OF these

So is proclaiming someone as ‘woke’ but look we all decided to use hot button words didn’t we.

All you’re really saying is “only my kind of opinion counts. You SJWs dont.”

When the topic of a game concerns modern depictions of gender, sexuality and relationships and is localized for western markets, expect people from those markets to voice opinions about it.

Shocking I know.

But continue your crusade against

I probably shouldn’t reply to you because you’re a troll but I will.

What you’re describing is the GaaS business model. Focus on maximizing user retention because invested users are more likely to buy MTX and DLC. MTX and DLC have high profit margins because they’re significantly cheaper to make than an all-new game. Theoretically, it makes more business to continually update one game

For the moment, I was soloing. I find that’s actually faster in a review capacity when the pool of active players is inconsistent. Tigrex became my wall, but that was handled easily with armor upgrades and prep.

I imagine something like Rajang will make grouping important, but I already love to play with friends,

i hate to be that person but in FF8 it goes to 100 not 99. same with level, which is a departure for the series.

Ok listen... I love Tim Rogers’ narration. I could literally listen to him read the phone book.

Can’t be mad at you after that comment. Team Rock The Dragon.

agreed

It was definitely way more hype.

We all know Rock the Dragon is the true OP for DBZ

Not even pretending to hide it anymore, are they.
