No, because even for their faults the books are still written/plotted fairly well, most of the larger narratives are actually engaging and have real stakes, and it’s only after (at least for me) the third trilogy that Drizzt the character starts becoming insufferable. Most stories involving him are still —imo—fantastic

I assure you, with every fiber of my being, that less people know the current “canon” of DnD revolves around the Forgotten Realms than there are those who think the game takes in some nebulous untitled “setting”.

Oh, I figured, don’t worry.

what makes you think current Marxists aren’t thinking critically?

Granted; but how many adventures and supplements have we gotten for Ravnica since it was introduced? I’m not even sure any of it is even legal in AL.

You don’t even have to go that far—Drizzt knows an entire family of crazy, off-the-wall wizards, and he regularly adventures with at least one of them iirc.

I will never understand WoTC’s absolute refusal to let characters like Drizzit and Elminster, or settings like the Forgotten Realms, go. They have a literal stable of original, company-owned characters they could use instead of Salvatore’s Gary Stu, but here we are in 2019 still having to deal with the whiny emo

*Gary Stu

and will follow the exploits of the dark elf Drizzt Do’Urden

As a fan of the original game, and the care they went through to make the mental illness the character was suffering feel...actually real, rather than a superpower or just an afterthought, I am gonna be tentatively hype for this.

“There will be lots of nudity, though,

They adapted an already massive successful franchise to the screen with massive help from both their crew, other writers, and the creator of GoT himself in most cases. Once given free reign and no script that was more than an outline to follow, you and most everyone else who are fans of the show know that quality

I look forward to a time when we move past it because I think it’s in many ways damaging

I will never understand this mindset.

I mean, it’s either you agree the planet needs to be saved and adults have failed it for generations, or.......you believe there’s a giant political hoax, worldwide, to defraud climate change.

Yep. And every single one of them ought to be put under your “Never show this ad again - Irrelevant or Inappropriate” list so they get de-listed from that service.

“Oh boo hoo don’t blame Sony they obviously got taken advantage of boo hoo”

YouTube runs ads that are anywhere between 2 minutes to 20 minutes depending on how long you leave autoplay up.
