I’ve owned a BMW R65 and I’ve owned a modern Honda XR 250, and I can safely say there is but one thing today’s smaller ADV bike is missing compared to those of old: a good seat. Power delivery is good, economy is good, looks aren’t bad, but the seats are disastrously bad.

Is it just me or are Porsche and Merc picking fruit from the same tree?
