The common argument made against dlc is that ANY story that’s part of the game is part of the main, core story. So it all comes down to what people accept as part of the core story, and what counts as being additional.

I thought you were replying to the OP and saying that the main story can be split up behind multiple pay-walls. So I thought you were arguing that it’s okay to sell a game at full price and hide parts of the main story behind pay walls. Pretty much. They can’t put things into perspective. They just choose what they want to be offensive and look for reasons to hate it. But if its not something thats edgy to hate, they don’t say anything. It’s all about being edgy, not being logical.

Ehhhhh, this is closer to “cheesing” than it is a proper strat. You might as well call in help from another player, because using these is pretty much the equivalent. At that point everything that makes this game original and fun in the first place (the difficulty) is thrown out of the window.
