I have been saying this about games in general since I got a ps3. For some reason art direction hates cartoon style graphics. I remember seeing the first cyberconnect 2 Naruto game and being excited for where Cel shading was headed. I still enjoy gritty realistic games but not every game needs to look the same.

I doubt one artist worked on all the characters. I think the issue is that they were made to look good from the side view and not much emphasis was put on their up close appearance. A lot of times games have sets of models for gameplay and cinematic.

I agree with this so much. I feel like we were at a point where people just played what they wanted to play this generation but lately I see people trying to start the console wars again.

I am with you there. This is pretty much a modern version of the MvC style Fighter I envisioned way back when this series started to get big in the US.

Hayter wasn’t that amazing so get over it. There have been plenty of good Batman animated movies where Conroy and Hamill were not involved. If you haven’t seen them I recommend seeking them out because they are really good. I wish people would quit idolizing voice actors like they are the make or break part of any

I think it will meet the standard of the previous games. Maybe it won’t be as big but as far as gameplay and story goes it will be to par. Expectations, as they usually are with hyped projects, are going to be impossible to reach. I am also happy to have backed this project. They can take all the time they need.

It is because there is a lot that can go wrong and usually does when you make a game. Think about how many glitches an obviously rushed game has.

I feel like this boils down to what the focus of the art style is. Disney infinity was made specifically for figures where as Zelda had to take the existing art style and update it to fit into a figure format.

This has some truth but I still think if Quiet was created in the ps2 era (or the beginning of the ps3 era) nobody would question the design.

People weren’t losing their shit over Vamp’s costume because the game came out before everyone cared about how video game characters dressed.

The kid in me is like “Wow, we should go there everyday and get a new one.” The surprise is part of the fun :D

I was thinking the same thing. I was really excited and when the videos did not move away from 8-bit I was significantly less excited. Still might get it but not really at the top of my list.

Im glad I am not the only one. I live in Atlanta and everytime I go to walmart they have these stocked.

Still not going to pay for poor management on their part. There are just too many amazing games that have come out in 2017 to spend more money on an incomplete game.

This pretty much describes everything that happens before chapter 13. Feels like they hid a lot of the story behind a paywall for the DLC.

I do the same thing unless it is a game I want in hand the second I get home from work (can’t trust the mail to be efficient in my area) or they have something exclusive I want. I went there to get the Last Guardian and they were telling people all the copies they had were for pre-orders only.

It is a different camera but the same feel as the original games. The trailers don’t do the game justice. All the demo really does is prepare you for the perspective.

This is perfect. Now we just need his wife’s tweets in Harley Quinn’s voice.

My friend found one at gamestop but only because they were limiting it to one per a person. After some guy came in and bought all of the Revans in their first two shipments the employees decided to limit them. I wish more stores would adopt this mentality.

I want to say I am surprised that anybody fell for this obvious “joke” but Trump is going to be president so nothing surprises me anymore.
