No one is getting banned. Please read the sources and article before you wind up your outrage machine. They are removing Trump-related discussions and craft projects, but they are not banning anyone for being a Trump supporter

They aren’t kicking them for what they think. It is a knitting forum, not a place for political debate. They don’t want to have to deal with discussions about poly vs wool being hijacked by nazis, and these people are nazis despite them tryjng to claim they are the ‘alt right’.

I have to agree that shaming someone for having technology is stupid, especially in these circumstances. A smartphone alone is basically a digital swiss army knife that greatly improves the chances of a homeless individual surviving and getting back on their feet.
