Barr’s letter is crafty; lawyers are translating it to plain language. Worth reading is this twitter thread of lawyer Seth Abramson on Barr’s letter, which starts with “The Barr Summary - a very different document from the Mueller Report - is being woefully misread by the media.”

So ... the most effective way for constituents to remove a sitting Dem Representative or sitting Dem Senator who is not meeting their needs is to vote Republican? I’d say they could be shooting oneself in one’s foot but it seems like the bullets take out both kneecaps and feet and the non-dominant hand.

A number of Representatives and Senators on both sides are former prosecutors, e.g. Swallwell, Schiff, Blumenthal. At least one of them has said the same thing about sealed indictments and the statute of limitations.
