Huh? Speaking as an Azn, I don’t think she’s ever looked NOT Asian. Her art style has mostly changed between semi-realistic in SF2 to more anime-style with the big eyes., but in SF5 she looks like a 3D version of her original SF2 portrait.

More likely, it’s a tour to raise PR for the final sale. Costs them more up-front, but they’ll easily make it back at the auction. And doing it gratis widens how far it will be shown, increasing the pool of potential buyers.

Right? I don’t have any issue with the guy getting paid, but it’s hard to feel any additional sympathy because ~$500k is “only” enough to get him out of debt. Plenty of people suffer most of their lives for much less debt than that.

Seems totally bizarre that they carted the thing all over the world to different expos without ever being paid or reimbursed. I have a friend who works for a company that manages comic book conventions, and this definitely seems like something that should be paid for. They pay actors all the time to just show up.
