I get an average of 125 miles with a fun tank in my R1. But I go through an average of 3 tanks every time I go out with it. I can’t really picture myself waiting 1 hour every 150 miles when it takes 3 minutes to refuel a gas tank on my bike.

Exactly, if it’s a track tool, why would some scratches bother you? As long as it handles good and it’s fine mechanically, it’s good enough for the purpose.
