Eh, I used to think the same, but he has The Leftovers and HBO’s Watchmen as success, so maybe he’s not.
I honestly thought the whole article was going to be Lindelof saying “Honestly we made so much shit up that we didn’t know how to fucking tie together everything and make sense of it.”
But with a sword!
You beat me to it. I was going to say I’ve meet kids who signed up just for the chance to going away from their homes.
One of the things that fascinates me about the original trilogy is that there’s enough vague lines in there to attach what was fleshed later. I cannot say if it was intentional (which I doubt) or just common sense in writing to leave things to the imagination, for people to fill out with their own ideas.
So we’re just pulling out the pitchfork to whoever the “good” people points us to?

I didn’t think they were aiming to remake Cutthroat Island down to the box office performance...
Very, very interesting concept and willing to see how it develops. Fun fact shared by the creator of the show, the lyrics of the song in the trailer are Mayan!
I saw first hand the enemies walking like a conga line where there was a pile of bodies and getting taken down one by one, but hey, everyone says they LOVE the AI.
I’m surprised there’s still a plan for a Flash movie, what with all the changes and things happening.
I’ve been rewatching the series now with my 7 year old daughter and we’re having a blast. She LOVES the gang and it has astonished me how much she grasps the concepts of the show.
The game doesn’t deserve a 10/10 by any means. Reviewers that did this ouright lied. They surely got their reasons, I’m not going to say “oh, they all are paid”, that’s childish.
