To me, honestly, that ruined the whole thing. As you say, it’s not about giving a villain a second chance, it’s giving an abuser an opportunity despite what they have done. It really felt wrong.

This exactly. I love how everyone waited to see first if what Snyder delivered was decent and only THEN came forward to say shit about Whedon. Not that Whedon doesn’t deserve it, but of course doing it now makes them look good instead of questioning why they remained silent all this time.
I come from the future, I saw the first episode and... I was laughing at how stupid is everything, I ended up doing MST3K on my living room riffing this thing. I can’t promise I’ll watch the second episode.
Seeing how that other one went, yeah, I’m perfectly ok with this.
Fake anger amplified by sites like this that take something like “oh, some people’s feathers are rustled” and turn it into “IT’S THE REVOLUTION! DROVES AND DROVES OF PEOPLE ARE MAD!” for the clicks.
This oh so much. Has to be the most coherent comment in iO9 in a while.
“We made a funnier Joker but it’s not Joker”
What can go wrong, right?
a live-action/animated hybrid
I was already NOT interested since Margot Robbie’s Harley is like the Anti-Deadpool to me, but this really make me wonder if I’ve overrated Gunn.
Take your star and get out.
It’s like the show is actively trying to sabotage itself. What a mess.
Goddammit you’re so spot on and that’s what kept bugging me.
Hahaha, Druckmann is going to ruin it and the fans gonna go all nuclear. I can’t wait.
I’m there with you, the drawings lack shading, so the cleanliness and thick outline contrast hard with the detailed backgrounds. Looks like those old flash animations but in high res and 60 fps.
Yeah, I don’t have a good feeling about this since the moment it was announced. Feels they’re going overboard.
Am I the only one who thinks CW’s Flash looks better when running than Ezra in this film?
I dropped off around the time it became an almost laughable reimagining of DBZ.
Right? He’s perfect.
