You can still be a fan and recognize you’ve outgrown a certain stage of your life. 

Question: since this was born as a YA novel series, how old would their readers be by now and how invested are they as adults to keep buying them?

Well, down the line we got a strong female protagonist in Kassandra and even some choice of same sex romance (even if not entirely “canon”) so I guess calling them on their bullshit kinda worked.

That Cinepolis trailer is the most coherent thing I’ve seen about this movie so far. I’m interested now. 

I’m so happy for all the nominees, specially thrilled to see Steven Universe once again: my daughter has become NUTS about it! I introduced SU to her last year and I thought I knew stuff, but now she teaches me about fusions and characters and was SO HAPPY when the new episodes began.

Nah, too late. If I ever see it it will be on a stream or something. New Mutants was interesting as a comic eons ago. As a “horror” movie is the most weird flex ever.
