My first car was a 1986 Ford Bronco II. That back area, when the back seat was folded up, was a roomy enough area. I would keep some sleeping bags back there. The HS g/f and I would find a remote spot and relax. Sometimes radio on, sometimes off. Sometimes back hatch open, sometimes closed.

I just hate how long all this is dragging out

If they just change the value to be based on private party or retail (the original announcement said retail) then I would be happy and so would vast majority of owners

The biggest issue I have is they are using trade in value and not private party. I own a 2014 Jetta TDi and as a result I will probably opt for the fix. If they change the calculation to private party value then I will do the buyback. It is a difference of roughly $2k for me
