What an absolute dumpster fire this Season 1 rip-off was.

You must’ve missed watching Better Call Saul.
It depicts wealthy, white, landowners on the great plains and is targeted at white AARP members. How do those people vote?
No disrespect to ST, but all it’s really done is integrate one song (Running Up That Hill) at a few effective moments. When It’s Cold I’d Like To Die was used pretty well too (bit of an anachronistic choice though, I think?) and the synth score is great. I wouldn’t personally say its use of music is particularly…
Jesus is Westworld still on?
I don’t know, but here’s my guess: The viewership trends older, and most advertisers view anyone outside the 18–49 demographic as nonexistent, therefore, there’s less buzz behind the show. I’ve only watched a few episodes. Everyone is always punching one another.
Except I have zero interest in their generic looking Skyrim 2.0, and have meanwhile sunk hundreds of hours into Cyberpunk and had a crapload of fun.
So, you know, take your time guys, makes no difference to me.
I feel Cyberpunk 2077 should not be missed. Yes, it’s a meme how poorly its launch was handled, it still basically being fundamentally broken in some ways regardless of platform. But for those of us who didn’t suffer the hype train or succumbed to gamer rage, AND played on a decent desktop setup (yes, we are a tiny…
I get it that Strangers to Ourselves is uneven. But DAMN the good tracks are fucking great ... as good as anything they’ve ever done.
you mean Winters
OK, I have been turned off by her for a long time, I just can’t ... but I would love someone to explain to me why lyrics like “You fucked me so good that I almost said ‘I love you’” and “You act like a kid even though you stand six foot two” are considered good lyrics. They sound like mediocre tweets your…
Ray Donovan may very well be the epitome of TV shows that ran for a long time but weren’t very popular, i.e. cultural phenomenon.
Bill Paxton’s Frailty. A well done flick and it woke me up to the realization that nuts out there are acting on what they think is God’s will. Unnerving. More so now.
If I had to guess, Milligan is going to be like Tom Reagan in Millers Crossing as the smart guy trying to play the angles between bigger fish without getting squashed.
Watch the trailer. Tom Holland’s and Robert Pattinson’s accents are terrible. It’s like they watched an episode of Hee Haw and said to themselves, “that’s bloody brillant.”
I don’t see either of these actors being able to capture the fundamental sweetness that candy could bring to his roles and was a critical part of the success of planes. There is a sincerity that candy could project (see also: uncle buck) that neither hart nor smith have shown they have the capability to channel.
Janice: What did you do with...[Richie’s body]?
Tony: (deadpan) We buried him... on a hill... overlooking a little river... with pine cones all around.
Janice: You did?
Tony: (irritated) Come on, Janice! What the fuck do you care what we did with him?
Crouching Tiger should have been number 1. You put an Ethan Hawke-Hamlet movie on this over Memento? This list is abysmal. There is maybe three movies on this I genuinely enjoyed.
Read the review: he's shitting on the show. His critique reads like he's trying to justify giving the show a much lower grade. The review reads like a C- to me
Yes, you should pick it up again. I'm personally not understanding any of the "OMG what a drop in quality" assessments. I myself freely admit that something is missing in gravitas this season that was there in the first two (and especially so in the wonderful second season). BUT, it's still fantastic in my opinion!…
