You’re right, it was “distrust intensely”, upon which I paraphrased. And thanks for my acknowledging my effort, with the “nice try” assuming some sort of gotcha-ish question for you (are you Sarah Palen? dismiss this comment if that is a YES).
That seems extreme, but fair enough. I would suggest, though, that a Disney point of view would suggest your behavior be in line with kindness towards such people, not revulsion, if you were enjoying it as a moral media rather than just entertainment.

It’s always important to remember that how you react to something is individual, and not universal, and so maybe it isn’t all that important in the scheme of things (reworded: it’s not about you).
