They have a home opener every year! What's so special about THIS one, Stephen?!

Nope. Just the home opener.
Which sounds like a big deal, but IT ISN'T. Because WHY….

Chicago's CW played the Cubs game instead of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. I am not happy about this.

We're like Nemo and Dory, Dave. Let's go on that adventure.

Yeah, I was surprised, but delighted to randomly find this out today. It'll be a 13 episode season too. I'll be curious to see if that affects its already languid pace.

Bring it down to two, as I'll write about something that jumps out about the final two episodes separately, and you've got yourself a deal.

Casual returns for its second season on June 6th. This gives everybody until then to finally catch up on the first season. You'll thank me later.

There's a nifty little bonus feature on the MST3K "Soul Taker" dvd where Joe Estevez talks about the movie, and he's pretty adorable in that he both loves the movie and thinks it's genuinely "good," but also loves what MST3K did with it and finds that hilarious. I don't even think he's delusional, just a real good

I love that the reason the volume is going out of print is only because they lost the rights to "Soul Taker." Apparently the company that owns the rights to that movie wants more money than originally agreed upon.

I'm very excited for the new era. This is the exact kind of show that is actually made to be rebooted/revived, and I'm very happy it was.

Oh I definitely think a few others on here care about the show, I was mostly referring to the fact that I'm one of the few people that care about shows on DVDs… even a show where all full episodes are free on YouTube. Haha.

In news that probably only I care about:

Sounds like somebody can't bear this remake!

Though, I'm a tad upset they showed the actual title card used in the opening credits of the film, which is kind of stunning in context and out of nowhere when you haven't seen it before. Oh well.

Trailer for Sundance's Swiss Army Man:

Agreed, "I Could If I Wanted To" is basically my childhood in a nutshell, music-wise. Not to mention it was a long time coming as the most Greg-esque song ever conceived. The delivery was killer.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend continues to crush it.

Whoopde-frickin-do! This song sucks.

I guess most people like myself mean that as shorthand for "last original musical animated film," their bread and butter, so to speak.

I also watched The Princess and the Frog, which was sadly not up to par with other Disney offerings, considering it was the company's 2D animation swan song.
