Which one is which?
Which one is which?
Thank you so much for the kind words! It's always nice to hear feedback, or even just that somebody listened to it at all, ha.
Alrighty, last time I'll do this since there was quite a few updates since yesterday:
Wow. This was not worth the wait.
And my voice is so precious, no? I'm just the sweetest thing.
Shameless self-promotion: a few friends and I started a film podcast. You can find our website at filmtankshow.com and our first episode is up already (on Kingsman: The Secret Service). It will be up on iTunes within 24 hours, but for now you can click on that link to hear how much of a pretentious asshole I am.
You son of a bitch.
Hi!
No, YOU are/should!
Ah, Saturday. The day I wake up and finally look at all those projects due on Sunday and wonder how I'll ever complete them all before midnight tomorrow. It's nice to know that grad school hasn't changed me.
Can't fucking wait for the new episodes.
Top 5 cinematography this year for me:
Selma is just not that great of a movie. It's an okay film, boosted by one pretty good performance (and some unplanned timeliness). But in no way can that movie be "snubbed" for something it never deserved in the first place.
Unfortunately, I just don't understand how this film, as Vaugh puts it as well, "turns Bond up to 11." Besides the increase of blood, this is actually a pretty paper-thin homage to Bond, at best. It's nowhere near as campy, witty, charming, sexual, you name it. It simply has more blood. People (including Vaughn) are…
I love you too, Hiter. I love you too.
Thank you, Hitler. That means a lot coming from you.
SPOILERS FOR KINGSMAN, IF YOU CARE ABOUT THAT KIND OF THING.
Yeah, "whimsy" and and whatever else reductive adjectives you want to throw at him feel more at home in a dysfunctional family piece than it does in a Nazi-caper.
25% of this article is absolutely ridiculous (including the passage you singled out, and the part that Stephen brought up), but the rest of it was far more reasonable than I was expecting, considering what past iterations of this article looked like.
I mean "hate" you!
