Bystander effect. All these people were seeing this and wondering “why is no one doing anything? Should I do something? But why is no one else doing anything?” I bet a bunch thought it must be on the level, because no one was doing anything, and just went about their day.

Sadly, this is whats wrong with people

SNL has been consistently inconsistent for its entire run. People tend to remember the highlights of whatever season(s) they personally consider the show’s “golden age,” but the truth is, it's always been a delicate balance of brilliant and excruciating.

*Mamma Mia!

storage wars is a national treasure.

Ugh, we’re totally gonna get shit on but this is one of the main reasons I do not believe in the death penalty. There are a lot of very terrible people in the world that make me very upset but I always wonder what happened to this person to make them this way? What did life/society/family teach this person? Everyone

I am pretty sure you’re not trolling and you’re genuinely asking this (you seem pretty genuine), so hopefully I’m not wrong. :)

The death penalty actually costs more money than keeping the prisoner in the general populace. If you google “cost of death penalty vs life in prison” you’ll see numerous sources saying that;

Thanks for telling this story, because yes, older more established women can be allies, but they can also very much be part of the problem too.

I read two pages of his bullshit (that's enough) and now I'm of the opinion that while his family may be dysfunctional, his need to put everything in public, not just his and his wife's decision to be non-monogamous, is part of the problem.

Well, the author (Scottish) and most of the girls mentioned hail from Europe so you really can't blame the US for this one.

I’m going to say it, it’s actually a great song. It took hearing Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks singing it for me to appreciate it, but it is an amazing song and I will defend it (and probably make it a go to karaoke song).

That’s a hilarious April Fools prank.

Maybe that means we can have a show completely devoted to Max and his beautiful gray hair and dreamy smile ::swoon::

I love this. My daughter loves the color pink but she also loves vehicles, dinosaurs, and science. I usually just buy her clothes from the “boys” section and honestly I think gendering clothes for little kids is dumb, but I’m all for campaigns like this for girls.

I am nowhere near as knowledgeable as you are about sports; however, I do enjoy sports, particularly football. It's more than a little irritating that people assume having a vagina means you couldn't possibly be interested in sports (especially something as violent as football) and, if you do, you dont really have a

All the times I’ve said something to a man, was kind of ignored, then what I said was repeated by another man and that turned out to be a great idea/funny/helpful/worthy of attention.

I would respect them for standing up for their beliefs if they also refused to cater a wedding of prior divorcees, of people who had pre-martial sex, of non-Christians, of people who work for a credit card company charging high interest, of people who lie, of people who ever had an abortion, or any other people who do

Tip if you give a check: write it out to either the bride (in her maiden name) or the groom unless you know it would be appropriate to do otherwise. Name changes take time and not all couples have joint bank accounts.

HOW IS THIS SO HARD FOR SO MANY PEOPLE.

Jesus H. Christ, the level of vitriol in these comments is ridiculous. If you don't want to or can't afford to give a wedding gift, don't. If you're willing to spend $50 on ugly ass towels but unwilling to put that same $50 in an envelope, you're being silly. It's not that difficult.
