Nah. It was merely to tell that guy that Lexus aren’t just tarted up Toyotas. I didn’t put it correctly.

Exactly. Someone said “well the Cruz and Cobalt weren’t exactly names to remember”. Well then keep at it then...develop them, improve their image but at the end of the day when people hear “Cruze” for decades then they are at least aware of a small car offering from GM. Doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be…
I thought it would be known/understood that it meant RWD platform. I keep forgetting most people commenting on Jalopnik don’t really know anything about cars.
It’s an RWD platform
The continuing dichotomy of evangelicals ferociously loving and praising Israel while being utterly anti-semitic at the same time.
I’m almost ready to drop the entire Trump investigation (and in any case he’s gone so mad we don’t even need Mueller to bring him down now...his own mouth will) and turn it into an investigation how Lindsay went from Russia foreign policy hawk to “please sir, up my arse if you will” for anything Trump belches out.
I can already see it...”2023, the all-new small car from Chevrolet! The Chevrolet Kink”. It will be found to be promising but will lack the refinement, brand value and brand recognition of the Civic and one will wonder just how much more sensible simply having continued the Focus/Cruze would have been.
Agreed! it took my family YEARS to get to our very first SUV (Murano). A Fusion is (was) a far better vehicle than the EcoSport. And not everyone needs or wants a CUV/SUV. We see PLENTY of sedans here in Toronto.
Yup
You should come drive my RWD GS 350 AWD F-Sport sometime. It will make your base-trim 330i feel like a Corolla.
Of course! I barely even looked at the snide little paragraphs accompanying the images. I personally thoroughly enjoyed the XTS I drove and I say that as a GS 350 owner. I guess my main point was that in spite of the current problems, and there are many, the sheer cost and effort that the domestics will have to put in…
OR they are abandoning the unionized states and will soon announce new factories across the Southern US. But even in that scenario, they still need years to get all that going. Just abandoning the sedan market...even big selling cars like the Cruze, Focus, Fusion etc is the definition of shortsightedness. Even here in…
So why hasn’t the Civic and Corolla been cancelled yet?
I honestly don’t understand these domestics. They are walking away from hundreds of thousands of unit sales. I understand the profit margin is higher for SUVs but what happens when gas prices go up? There is not going to be a electric charging grid enough to be a serious player for another decade if not more. Toyota,…
Of course but what I meant to say was most people in our province aren’t exactly the red state evangelical types so his effect and support will always be limited. And now with the Oshawa news and him saying “oh wells, too bad!” he’s already off to a garbage start.
Really? I’m on month 12 with mine and the battery holds the same charge it did in month 1. No issues here.
Yeah but it doesn’t really matter. Ontario isn’t a red state. These morons have very limited effect.
My LG V20.
I’m feeling the same with my V20. I got it last December and it’s just been so wonderful. I even have a brand new V30 waiting for me that I got for free from carrier when upgrading our family plan but I just feel so at home with the V20. I’ve even been contemplating buying the Pixel 3 XL because it’s on sale right now…
And adults in government!
