I too would absolutely love a sloped roof, hatchback Miata. It’s easy to forget that 90% of everything referencing a Miata in any way is based out of California, where removing your top entirely is a perfectly reasonable thing to do. Sounds nice...

Wheels are swappable, but look a bit large on an NB and very large on an NA

I know the NA/NB aftermarket tops were notorious for terrible quality control, fitment, and overall finish. I’d be leary of going that route without a some time to test them in normal day-to-day conditions

Miatas can easily hold 4 race wheels. Source: I have one, and see tons of other owners transport wheels to and from track days. These are super tall winter tires and they’re fine, it’s even easier with low pros

Yep, incredibly annoying. I fixed the problem in my Miata with an Accutech oil pressure gauge in the center console wired to a remote light set directly in my line of sight that will light at a certain pressure, and start blinking at another pressure. It’s fantastic.

The original 1.6 NA 90-93 Miatas all had perfectly functional oil gauges.

Hmm. Maybe that’s why this car has such bad defrost capabilities compared to everything else I’ve owned, despite having a miniscule interior
