Normally the jack is in the trunk (surprisingly spacious trunks) along with expedition-level winter sleeping bag, food, a tarp, air compressor, tool roll, and a good first aid kit. Shovel goes in the passenger seat unless there’s someone else with me, in which case I’ll strap it to the luggage rack. No winch, but…
Montego Blue? Gorgeous
That’s where I go when I’m craving some fun drives. Rainier is always an option too, if you’re not too far. You’d need low profile Cable chains in case the park Rangers stopped you, though
Make it happen
How else would you know?
Mt. Rainier, Washington State! The 1st picture is from the national park as well, just earlier in the day before the sun came out
I’ll let you have the NC $kay, let’s spread the joy. Besides... Mine might get jealous!
NO lowballerz . I know wat I hav.. Jus testing the waters. CASH TALKS. Perfect condition besides all the broke stuff. Lost title with last OWNER-NOT stolenz
If all the new found fame and glory gets to my head, I’m counting on you to do what needs to be done. Just.... Please. Make it quick!
Thanks! I’d just like to mention that when I bought this car it was a salvage-titled nightmare ten seconds away from being scrapped, and now it’s traveling the PNW on adventures with we weekly, while still handling DD duties and the occasional track day. Dreams do come true!
It’s 100% the tires, nothing inherently bad about the Brz. For comparison, here’s my Miata stuck on completely level ground in an inch of snow. I literally couldn’t move the car an inch. Brand new summer tires, last winter.
My stock torsen LSD needs an upgrade, those OS Giken units are starting to look pretty appealing...
Can you imagine the parking lot carnage in this fantasy-school?
I like the way you think, Alex
High-centered! That’s the term I was looking for! And yeah it was interesting. It was stuck pretty good. Took about 99 minutes to free up, and by that time it was pitch black and snowing hard
+10,000 jalop points for the recovery at night in a snowstorm using random junk in my car
Body-length skid plate would be fantastic upgrade. I might see what a local shop would charge to get something fabbed up
Here have some more. Alls of yous wit yer fancy mall-spec Jeeps, awd crossovers, ABS and “traction control” are missing out on true driving nirvana! Top down, rwd roadster, banging gears up a perilous mountain side while freezing your [redacted] off at speeds fit to make Ken Block blush.
Next winter! Currently sitting on some high-end track focused coilovers... But other than the ride-height they handle offroading fantastically
