Especially since they've got the effects guy for the Gamera trilogy. HE MADE GAMERA LOOK BADASS.

To me it's screaming a little too much "What if we put Godzilla through the Attack on Titan filter?" I'll admit I'm not a fan of that show but sudden creepy gross giant guys standing out of nowhere is effective. Not so much for furious giant dinosaur who's a living nuclear reactor.

Well it's not like I'm going to finish Rebuild 3.0 anytime soon, so whatever.

Christ, could they have layered that hero stuff any thicker at the end? I was OK until "KING OF THE MONSTERS" was displaying on the news and then the movie lost me again.

I've gotten used to effects that don't age particularly well and considering how well some of the other scenes are done (that airport fight between Gamera and Legion with the helicopter trying to take off is one of the best action scenes ever, especially from an editing perspective) I give them a pretty big pass. The

I'm still fond of them. I just also realize the '90's Godzilla films have a lot of problems. They didn't have the style of the two '80's films (Biollante especially, I LOVE that movie) or the willingness to try new ideas of the Millennium series. (I'd maybe exclude Destoroyah, but the good ideas and effects that film

The fucking popsicle stick fight moment in King Kong vs. Godzilla has more charm.

I have to admit, I've always wondered about Crispin Glover's take on the Riddler. Even if I feel I know exactly how it will turn out, I'd still like to see it.

You mean Two Bloodier doesn't make sense? Dammit.

I'll agree that the first is the best (it's my favorite movie) but I love all of the Japanese ones (well, almost all of them, Final Wars) and I don't think the varying quality has anything to do with how heroic he is.

Oh they used that piece. For a couple seconds before Keith Emmerson turned it into some bland techno remix.

Get out. Final Wars was a crime. Not just again the franchise, but film making. I've tried to rewatch it several times but that garish bloom and grain filter they put over EVERYTHING literally pains me to watch. Not to mention they hired a director who seemed to want to make anything but a Godzilla movie. (X-Men, The

Not just the first one. Most of the Japanese movies don't gender Godzilla.

I am a huge Godzilla fan. Have been since I was three. Godzilla is a huge part of my life. I left the 2014 film feeling disappointed with the bland characters and the direction Edwards took it. It gave me a new appreciation for how a film can be technically "good" but still be boring and that a technically "bad" film

Second. I hate to admit it, but they're even better than most of the Godzilla films, especially the ones at the time.

Speaking of Godzilla, I just watched the trailer for Godzilla Resurgence… Wow, that looks bad. I'm sad now.

That would be a pretty neat take.
Y'know, I'd to just have an anthology of short films with actors giving their takes on Batman villains.

I guess so? I didn't remember she was in that show. Of course, I can't remember a single thing that Helen Hunt was in anyway, so that's not saying much.

Into the Weenie Mobile! Weenie Man away!

I'd like to think Ed Wood had more dignity than that. At the very least he seemed to believe in what he was doing and was genuine. I can't think of another director who had so much fun making such bad movies that were still a joy to watch. Maybe Andy Sidaris?
