I watched a few episodes of Mad About You once. I think it was a standard bearer for "forgettable sitcom" because I can remember nothing about it other than "Paul Reiser".

I actually keep forgetting that Hobgoblins 2 exists and get shocked all over again each time I'm reminded.
The joke stealing makes sense (even if it's dumb) as I remember the director of the first one was one of the few people who was actually excited about his movie being on MST3K and saw it as a compliment. (Not sure

vis a vis, ergo, free will, choice

The one that baffles me the most is Samurai Cop 2. They put Tommy Wisseau in it and somehow he was the worst part and not in the way you'd want.
There's also the fact that some people are doing great homages to "so bad, it's good" movies (Black Dynamite, Kung Fury, Ninja the Mission Force) and are doing great because

…and Vin Diesel as their commander! Now I'm sad. I really want this.

I still love that he played a character so vile that his sister hit him and his mother whispered "good" when he died onscreen.

I have been advised not to answer that.

Not to mention I'm so tired of them trying to mess with names of sequels. Just call it The Room 2, just like it should've been Rambo 4… I mean First Blood Part 4: Rambo II?

So who exactly do we have to beat to death to get the message across that it's not funny when you do it on purpose? The Room, Samurai Cop, Miami Connection: hysterical. Birdemic 2, Sharknado (all of them), Samurai Cop 2: HATE.

*sigh* goddammit.

I always think of that bit from Lewis Black where he's talking about at least once a day going out and being an asshole because "pricks live forever."

The problem is a lot of "method" actors don't have an off switch. So they don't so much play the character during filming as they "try to live in the character's head" or some such shit. Which leads to malleable people playing jerks and then being jerks to the cast, crew, family and friends.
Of course, also some of

I actually think those kids are emotionally mature compared to Leto.

"Yeah, I kidnapped their kids and tortured them and killed their family pets! It's working so well for setting up this feeling on the set where the rest of the cast hates me and wants to murder me!"

Actually, please do this. I really want to see the makers of Underworld get sued by the makers of Vampires vs Zombies.

I'd hope not. "Hey, remember that movie that you completely stole the show in and had absolutely made one of my favorite comedic scenes ever?"

Hold up now, Charles Dance was in fucking Space Truckers with a pull start penis. I don't think he's that picky about projects.
(He's still the best part of Last Action Hero though. "I just shot a man and I did it on purpose!")

I thought Resident Evil used red for the credits and narration but really was mostly just various shades of brown and grey. (Wesker's stark white toilet throne room aside.)

Y'know, I saw the first two in the theater and while the first one was pretty boring, I had a lot of fun with the second one. Especially the finale with helicopter and the ludicrous gibs.
I haven't touched the series after that. I'm tempted to give the third one a try because Rhona Mitra and just leave it at that.

Anyone want to join me in my alternate dream dimension where Terry Crews is playing the Joker and is knocking it out of the park without being a creepy dickbag?
