I think this is closer to a flagrant foul. They didn’t just get the equivalent of “more room” because they also used the drop to get behind another team and take them down. The rule in place was too accommodating for intentional violations.

Spend some of your adult life looking into A/V receivers. You got 5 or more HDMI ports that pass through to the TV, which leaves the TV with only one port used. Extra ports on the TV can be used with audio piped back to the receiver on another output via optical cable or HDMI audio return.
