I don't think even Millar was drumming on about how great it is to be fascist. I think he was probably putting an international perspective on American policy. But he did it in his usual Millar way so he kinda got lost in how "cool" it was for him to even have the idea in the first place and it looks like a tacit

I was never the biggest fan of G-G. If only because I was exhausted by the hype it received from the very beginning. I guess I just got tired of people treating it as revelatory and transcendental when it was just barely riffing on one of the most readily apparent core concepts of the comic. Was always more into

I've noticed that people are slowing coming around on Garfield and Jim Davis. It seems that folks have come to appreciate the consistency, reliability and unpretentious nature of the comic. And honestly that's all I could ever ask for. Most of my peers still don't like it at all, but I'm glad that weird decade long

Heyo!

We want to see that evolution. That's why we're watching the previous 7. We think it'll be interesting.

Heyo!

Will check it out. Not digging that whole Facebook scene at all.

I couldn't make it because of work here in Minnesota. 600 dollars down the drain. And apparently only half my books sold anyway. Near total loss.

Why do you get such huge batches of days off? Is it a rotating schedule thing?

I've never been to Vancouver but I love Seattle. I hear it's really different now though. Last time I went was nearly 20 years ago and people keep saying it's lost a lot of its personality.

I now only want to go to Denver to check out their light rail system. I have no other reason to go now that I'm no longer doing conventions and don't know anyone there.

Oh. I KNOW Cinema Wasteland. Total amateur horror fan in my teens. Rust Belt has such a thriving scene it's simply amazing. Just hundreds of low budget horror films from hidden gems to weird trash. I love it. I think it's part of why I'm so lenient about "flaws" in cinema.

Couldn't go to Denver. The only acceptable excuses for missing work today or Monday are death or disinterest in continuing on. So I had to eat hundreds of dollars. I'm done with cons. They're just an unacceptable financial risk. I can't afford this kind of thing. Especially when what happened today can spring up at

Hoping you'll be doing better soon

Nice to hear you're fine.

If you have Venmo and Clearexchange you should be able to do it.

The books are in pretty great shape! So I can send them out soon! I'm glad you enjoyed Enough Space.

Yeah, DINK! I'll definitely be going. Hope to see you there!

It'll be fine. I didn't realize it was next week! I'd be double booked. Turns out I'm going to Denver after all! But I hope it works out for y'all. And maybe next year!

I wonder what the new market of comics journalism is gonna look like. We're obviously in transition now. Is it gonna be all podcast and vlogs? Are new sites gonna pop up somehow. It's not gonna die. Comics are bigger than they've been in decades. People will still talk about them and people will still want to
