Did you have fun at the con at least? Glad you're feeling better though.

I believe it does but I'm not sure. I still need to take a road test regardless because I don't even have a license.
They do, but most of them make more of an impact in animation. When it comes to comics your biggest and most influential names seem to come from just about everywhere. But for whatever reason almost none of the schools seem to carry the name value that CalArts does, even on a smaller comics scale.
Every year, RISD turns out a new crop of movers and shakers. But it never seems to be mentioned in the same breath as CalArts in the corners of the Internet I hang out in. Even though it's produced far more people who've had quite an effect on the indie comics scene or look like they're going to. I know that Olivia…
Sorry if I didn't say much over the weekend. On Friday my computer gave up the ghost. Can't really afford a new one right now. So I'm currently doing everything from my phone. Which is annoying and near impossible, but I did it for almost 5 months back in 2014. So I can probably do it again now.
I live in Cathedral Hill. From where I live it would take at least two buses to get to any theatre. And since transfers within a two and a half hour period are free I'm not racking up any more costs and it would still require two buses on a brand new fare to get back. So Showplace Icon, Rosedale Mall, etc. Unless I'm…
Are there cheaper or even cheap places to see movies near St Paul? I'd be taking the bus/light rail. Either way it seems like I'd be paying the same amount to get to and from there.
I'm having a hard time figuring out how to write this comic without coming off badly. Suffice to say that as a comic writer who specializes in all-ages comics featuring female leads that happen to be PoC, I often wonder if I'm actually a part of this larger wave or if I'm off doing my own thing.
Friendsgiving went well. Turns out turducken is more than just a meat gimmick. Actually makes one fine bird(s).
No recommendations from me. The collector scene is rather opaque to me.
DINK is Denver Independent Comic Con. It's the first con I've ever been accepted to but it might bump up against other engagements.
Just a miscommunication about plans that led to it being held at someone else's place instead of ours.
Got accepted to DINK and now trying to wrangle the economic logistics.
I'm glad you have an outlet online at least.
So the apartment is pretty much fully furnished and I have a dog now. He's a real sweetie. Though the first night he was overly humpy. We're gonna be adopting a cat soon.
Oh no! That's awful! Have you been able to find a safe place?
I remember you!
You could even make one that has NO ring in it and claim it's the Phantom Ring cupcake. Because I love that particular brand of clever + lame.
Even chocolate with sprinkles and a Green Lantern ring embedded in the frosting?
Gosh, I really need to read Prince of Cats. Wimberley's art seems to be my speed in spades.
