I think overly reffy can work but mostly just for backgrounds. I kinda like that somewhat strange heightened realism look it can lend to comics sometimes.

Glad to hear it!

I've never had disorientation on any other move though. So this one has been really bizarre.

What schools are you looking at?

Glad you were able to close the deal on your house without incident.

I'd love to see an adaptation of Astro City that plays like if one of those dramatized "This is American History" miniseries on Discovery or History Channel were developed by HBO.

What are your visual style preferences for superhero comics?

I love the Twin Cities but Ever since moving here I've felt temporally and geographically dislocated. I never know what time it is even when looking at a clock. And I can't find anything even when using Google Maps. It's been very disorienting. And I apologize if I seemed like I was ignoring anyone this week. It's

Best towns/cities for comics?
What would you say are the best places to be if one's into comics?

Sorry for being late again. Minneapolis has been pretty great. I love it here. Not so much the suburbs though. It's kinda impossible to get into the city from Burnsville. You either have to go to the next town over or get up super early to get anywhere of interest.

Is scanning the picture a complicated process? Like is it fairly lossy if not done right?

Weren't you having a hard time selling those? That's great news indeed.

The way that last sentence is phrased suggests something that is potentially as hilarious to me as it is daunting.

No worries. And thanks a ton!

My thoughts exactly. I might read once it cools off. But I have almost nothing to add that wouldn't consume the majority of my day.

The Tick: Karma Tornado: Chris McCullough steps in to help plot, script and even pencil and it makes for a pretty fun time. It's a lot closer to the cartoon. Though I feel it kinda lacks the energy and verve.

Wow a lot of this week's conversation seems to have been funneled off into Crosstalk. With all honesty I'm not quite in the mood for wading into that particular discussion this week. But if there's any highlights you feel are worth a look let me know.

You could potentially find some neat connections if you get in on the Minneapolis Opera's social media night events.

I'm glad you're still enjoying StarHammer. Wow. We must've really done something right!

You ever thought about getting in with a publisher. There's some really cool local and national publishers in the Twin Cities area and they seem much easier to break into than any on the coasts. That's if something like editing would appeal to you that is.
