I tried it on a word document that had been printed as a PDF and it came back exactly as the original document. It took a while for the email to get to me, but the result is great!

I assume the way it works is finds 'real' text in PDFs and gets that into Word as... text, and what it cannot decipher it makes into images. I played with this or a similar tool a while ago, gonna try again to see if the state of the art has improved.

I'm learning ObjectiveC and Cocoa Touch and with the plan of making an Iphone game. I have an idea, and part of the game engine already written. The game should be fairly entertaining and engrossing, but I need to make it also flashy enough to stand out from the myriad of crappy games in the App Store.
