Yeah but that’s why the spiders who build webs are almost better? Cause they’re not darting around the place, hunting or whatnot. But I give you credit for ushering them outside.

Funnily enough I had cockroaches living in Australia but never in my years of living in NYC. Bedbugs do seem to be more terrifying than cockroaches...like life-ruining. And they can be picked up anywhere...blergh.

You didn’t feel the spider? I can’t believe the size of these things and how they can still manage to hide. Makes it even more terrifying!

But crocs are sneaky lil fuckers and can grab you before you know what’s happening! I wouldn’t even go near the water after dark in Port Douglas; my hostelmates thought I was real paranoid.

OH god, that’s horrifying. I never saw a huntsman while in Australia, but people there had me worked up over them. I’d much prefer they built webs because then at least they’d stay put, instead of running all over the place. It’s just the size of them, even though there are deadlier spiders around. On the other hand,

Your story had me almost gagging....

Maybe she’s dropping the suit because she originally said it was unprotected sex. I guess the lawyers must’ve felt the lie would hurt the suit. Also possible is that if she admitted he used condoms, it’s likely she got it from a different partner. Which is entirely possible anyway, condoms or not...which is why I

Yeah, I still see some Trump bumper stickers (and even a campaign sign, ffs, by the mailboxes so not even on private property). On the bright side, one dude finally took down his “drain the swamp” sign that’s been up for a year.

That’s so sad, and makes me wonder what’s to come. I’m in my late 20s, and my parents already have various issues. It’s really terrifying and lonely. I know my time with them as an adult is limited, which is fucking shitty. But I also know people have young parents who die young. But when you’re growing up, it feels

Yeah, I definitely see that as being part of the case. Just because the sperm can still do its’ job, doesn’t mean it should! I’m not trying to say it’s “all older parents” or that no one should have kids in their 40s, but I think parents need to be aware of the burden it has on kids as they’re growing up. It’s really

Wow! And I’m just curious, how long did he live to?

This is very true, and I think I benefitted in that respect from having older parents. But with my parents in their 70s now, it’s painful to watch them decline, especially when some of that was preventable. I don’t think that’s all older parents. I just wish mine made more of an effort to be active and take care of

Even the autism link aside, I’m not sure I understand why so many men think it’s perfectly ok for them to have kids late in life. It’s honestly a burden on your kids, too, who will have to worry about an aging parent much earlier than their peers. Both of my parents were old when they had me, but it drives me insane

I cannot fucking stand how religion and “the church” has infiltrated secular spaces. And regarding how people will still vote for him - I firmly believe abuse of girls and women is so normalized, many of these people will struggle to see anything wrong with what he did.

You’re the one who posted the photos to make a point about “negative stereotype associated with both feminists and feminism.” Your words, not mine. I’m saying that there’s nothing negative about those women and how they’re pictured. You’re treating your opinion about what’s “negative” as an objective statement. So

Yeah, and you missed my point. There’s nothing “negative”-looking about any of the photos you posted. You used them to prop up YOUR definition of the “negative stereotype associated with feminists.”

Why are you posting those pics as examples of what people think feminists look like? There’s nothing wrong with any of those women and the implication that there is, is misogynistic.

I looked at their “Made in the USA” line and it’s only men’s jeans. That is the only line that isn’t imported. I, too, will pay more to buy US-made but Levi’s won’t be it. I’m not opposed to buying men’s clothing and tailoring, but jeans are hard enough to find a good fit.

Where are those? From what I can tell, they’re imported these days, unless you mean vintage/thrift stores.

Patriarchy has always hurt both men and women. And men who have been abused should absolutely speak up about it, and people should pay the consequences for being predators. It bothers me a bit that you state “compartmentalization” for why men die earlier, which seems wholly unsubstantiated. First of all, heart disease
