I don't actually thing it's that bad. Friday has that ridiculous "it's friday friday" hook and this is just h a p p y which is honestly not that different from other pop songs i've heard. The lyrics are just child friendly to the extreme

While 8bit is nerdy and stylistic there's a reason we have high definition screens now, to get rid of awful pixelated pictures. In my mind this is cool to look at once but I would never want this on my phone. =/

I listen to music but I don't use it to drown out other peoples voices completely, I can tune out peoples voices easier if there's something over it. This allows me to concentrate on work (or browse and comment on LH) and also be able to take note of what's going on around me.

Yes it's incredibly annoying but who uses them anymore. Unless you can do this I suggest you upgrade your hardware :P

I think this list and ones like it need a refresh every now and then to include new additions like Sublime Text which is pretty badass but for a lack of alt-shift highlighting. :)
