I never thought it was that creepy in the books...

His shirt needs to rattle more!

I just scrolled past if it was a book I hadn't read. The cover images helped in this.

I've been looking too. How could they stop recapping right as we got the Felicia Day ep??

We know he knows nothing, but we don't know if he knows he knows nothing.

I think part of Jon's arc is meant to call into question that very assumption, that wildlings are primitive and stupid. Just wait til you meet Mance Rayder! (which I sincerely hope we do on the show.)

So many satisfying character bits like that, plus Theon's quote about cruelty, and Arya admiring the Targaryen warrior woman.

He knows nothing.

Ooh, ooh! Me too, me too! (To both points!)

SO CREEPY! It was so still...and its tentacles made it look insect-like...

Yes, I agree - he was fishing to see if Tywin knew who she was, and now that he knows that Tywin is ignorant, he is going to use Arya to his own advantage.

Haha, murder genie! Is it power, though, if she has to ask someone else for help? Her "three wishes" from the genie will run out soon...

A bear, a bear, all covered in HAIR!

I've gotta admit, I really hated Theon during this period of the books, but he really is in a lose-lose situation. Stuck between two homes, accepted in neither family...just can't get any respect. And everything he does to earn more respect just digs his hole deeper.

Yep, I don't watch the show either, but every time I see these TV recaps I must click!

GRRM has said before that POVs can't necessarily be trusted, so I think getting information on Margaery secondhand from other POVs skews our perception of her. I like that the show can give us insights into characters/events/conversations that we don't get firsthand through the books - Margaery is an example, but also

hear, hear!

Agreed! What's her Twitter handle?
