Speaking of Pittsburgh, I had a Whitfield burger the other day. We don’t deserve that stuff man. Chicago has good food, but I’ve never had a burger that good.

Sincere question here. Is it racist for a white person to use the term “hotep”? I feel like it has a lot of potential for misuse, and most white people seem unfamiliar with it. Is it best to just keep it that way?

“Why these boys look like they’re about to drop the hottest Order 66 of 2017?”

Please! Though a lot of the secondary pulse rifles function similarly, and it looks like Omolon only does energy this time around, right?

Interesting, I’ll definitely give that a try. I’ve been using uBlock origin for a while now, so I guess I’ll install Ghostery and disable Firefox’s internal blocking. Thanks for the help!

So for the past month and a half or so, I’ve been using Firefox Developer Edition, because Quantum got pushed to that around September 26th. This is the Firefox with the blue logo. I’m newly returning to the Firefox ecosystem after about 7 years of Chrome, so I’m hazy on the release versions.

Interesting. It only happens occasionally for me, but it happens in streaks. Are you using the Developer Edition? That could be my problem honestly.

As a web dev, I’ve been loving this browser for the past month or so. However, as an avid Kinja reader, I have to point out that I’ve been seeing a lot of this on the bottom of articles:

I agree, and hope we start seeing more of that. I just think white authors don’t have a tendency to do that, and, as discussed in different threads, I think we’d see a lot of bigotry in the early stages when they start to. That might be a necessary growing pain, but it’ll sure as hell be awkward while it’s happening.

Through r/GirlGamers, she found the melodramatic time-traveling lesbian adventure) game Life Is Strange, which she loved.

That’s very interesting; I had no idea.

I think the problem lies primarily in world-building. I’ll preface this by saying that stories taking place primarily or partially in our world need more diversity. There’s no excuse for that.

Yeah, I go New Monarchy so I can pretend to be basically the Stewards of Gondor. It wouldn’t surprise me at all to learn that Bungie drew influence from Tolkien in this area.

I initially thought “Getting hit by a car on Oasis” was one of the team names, and thought it should be at number 1.

Yeah, I ran into a weird rural area like two miles from my school. At some point, a white power sign went up on one of the street corners. Pretty sure a house down the road was a meth lab. But yeah, you aren’t kidding about the drug problem. I had no idea it was so bad till I lived out there.

PA is pretty great for cars, but the whole state seems some form of racist. On the more urban side, you have the odd but usually good natured racialists saying things like, “You know who would have an umbrella? The Koreans! The Koreans are a kind and generous people”. On the other side, you have meth cooks and white

I’ve always been very fond of UserBenchMark for more casual testing. It’s certainly not as stressful on individual components as some, but the site is used by a ton of people. This allows it to have great analytic and comparison utility. Gives great reports on component health.

I haven’t seen the show, but I like this telling of it enough that I don’t think I have to at this point.

White men dont rape black women. Wonder why?

It’s seems like the same mentality that brought about “The White Man’s Burden” burden back in the day. From what I understand, US and British imperialists sold their ideas as humanitarian. Of course, it was just profit seeking as usual.
