I always really enjoyed playing a Dwarf Cleric in Pathfinder. It gave me the option of using a warhammer without the extra weapon proficiency. I think that let me ignore my lack of agility in most combat, but I really just liked the idea of a cleric with a warhammer. Plus, if you spec lightning, you can pretend to be

This is a great idea, but you know those alt-right hicks are gonna lose their shit.

I had a discussion I was unpacking flat earth with a man I only now realize was Level 6 Woke. Honestly, having facts challenged by “look it up” is a lesson in humility, and I’d do it again.

Honestly, we’re in a pretty sweet Golden Age if you ask me.

Heck, you can let orcs kill you so that they gain levels and thus drop better gear.

Funny you should say that; I live in Chicago now. I honestly feel safer walking around here at night than I did in those backwoods.

Agreed on the Lou’s. Gino’s East is my second. Giordano’s can fight me.

If you’re in the city, skip Goose Island and go to Revolution Brewing for the best beer.

    Damn.

Walked into the cafeteria at work this morning, and found that 4 of the 8 Keurig flavors were changed to pumpkin spice.

Maybe this is naive, but I always thought Uber was supposed to be like, “Hey, I have some free time after my real job / I’m a college student with no real expenses, and I have a car. Maybe I could get some beer money doing this every few nights.”

Why is the rate of violence actually higher among poor, urban whites? Why don’t we ever discuss the economic impact of redlining and segregation on rates of violence?

I’m wondering to what extent that’s true. I could see it for a primarily story-driven game like Firewatch, but most Nintendo games don’t focus that hard on pure storytelling. Usually, at least in my opinion, they’re more fun to play than to watch.

I’ve actually been wondering about that for a while now. I’m thinking about casually reviewing some games with some friends in a blog. We’d put out content slowly, and review old and new games.

I’ll never really understand the problem developers have with YouTube content. It’s almost as bad as that joke that used to run around in the mandatory-Kinect days. “Oops, we detected another person walking in on this movie you rented. Don’t worry, we’ve automatically charged you an extra $3.”

Out of curiosity, do you know why Chicago wasn’t targeted? I’m not sure if we’re technically a “sanctuary city”, but we have a large immigrant population, and ol’ Rahm has been very forward with his stance on the issue. I was worried that would paint a target on the whole region.

Honestly, we (may) be asking too much of Facebook’s devs on this one. I work as a web developer (at an admittedly small not for profit), and this is just a common mistake. I’m sure the way they choose photos to display is some sort of guided-random process. At least in my experience, industry is more geared towards

You’re quickly becoming one of my favorite writers. I think I’ve linked or quoted you 15 times in the last week to my “friends from back home” who actually think this way. Thanks for saying it well.

Huh. If that video was shot on Ogden Avenue in Downer’s Grove, I drive by that dealership on the way home from work every day.

To be honest, I’m fine with this. Destiny is the kind of MMO that I paid $10-$20 a month for 10 years ago. If keep me from paying that, then whatever.
