Geodude and Gravler are quite literally Earth-like. They are made from rock. Can’t get much more earth than being made from earth.

He worded it poorly. He means they don’t look like they’re native to Earth, as if they didn’t evolve here. Some of the originals were a little sketchy, but many generations just ignore any sort of “originated on earth” designs and decide to use every day objects like a chandelier, garbage, keys, etc...

Those barely look like Earth-like creatures like the first few generations.
